TIRTA GANGGA ( WATER PALACE ) - BALI

Tirta Gangga ( Water Palace ) is a tourist attraction that is a relic of the royal family of Karangasem. Located in the middle of rice fields and surrounded by green hills so the scenery is so beautiful and peaceful. Tirta Gangga is located at Ababi Village, Abang Sub-district, Karangasem regency, Bali. In the district of Karangasem there are two water palace made by the local king, King of Karangasem, namely " Taman Tirta Gangga " and " Taman Ujung ". To access this location is easy, because it is located on the edge of the main road Abang-Karangasem and there are already signs of directions. From Denpasar is about 83 km and from Amlapura city is about 7 km.

Tirta Gangga water palace was built in 1948 on the idea of the King Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem. The same as Soekasada Park ( Taman Ujung Water Palace ) architecture is also a combination of Balinese and Chinese architectural styles. If you ever visit Ujung Park ( Taman Ujung ), Tirta Gangga Park has a similar architecture to Ujung Park ( Taman Ujung ). Once you enter the park, you will see a pool of water that is so beautiful. This water palace scenery is amazing. Here there are three ponds interconnected. The pool is located on the right side is decorated by decorative rocks and several statues placed arround the pool that serves as a bridge, so you can be in the pool without having to get wet. In this pool there are a lot of goldfish swimming in the pool of water. If you want to enjoy the cool water here, you can try it out by throwing yourself into the pool because it is a special pool for bathing. This place is suitable to relieve fatigue while holidaying. The location is also often used as a place for prewedding photo. This tourist attraction is always crowded by tourists, both domestic and foreign.
