LIPAH BEACH, BUNUTAN, BALI

Lipah Beach is one of popular beach in east coast of Bali. Lipah Beach located at Bunutan Village, Abang Sub-district, Karangasem Regency, Bali. In the east coast of Bali has many interesting place, one of them is Lipah Beach. The uniqueness of this beach is a mix between white and black sand. Formerly, the people here are fishermen, but now some have switched professions in the field of tourism industry, especially the youths at the end of this decade. The influence of tourism changed lives in this village, some still as fishermen and others opened small restaurant or warungs and the rest as worker at the hotel.

Lipah beach offers diving and snorkeling spots in this area, especially in front of Pondok Vienna Beach ( Pondok Vienna Beach is the first accommodation that has built in this area ), the latter of the whole area from Melasti Beach in Amed sub-village to Banyuning Sub-village is better known as Amed. Though Amed is small village that is part of the Culik Village. In this place live coral reefs and marine creatures that became a magnet for diver to come here, either beginner divers or master. Not only divers can enjoy the beauty of underwater in this place, who can not dive, can also enjoy it by snorkeling using a snorkel and a fin that is rented on the beach or bring from the hotel where you stay. If you stay not far from Lipah Beach, you can see the traditional boat that called Jukung when coming out and coming in, in the morning and afternoon.
