BAT CAVE TEMPLE - PURA GOA LAWAH BALI

Pura Goa Lawah ( Bat Cave Temple ) located at Pesinggahan Village, Dawan Sub-district, Klungkung Regency approximately 1 hour drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport. From the thousands number of temples in Bali, one of which is Bat Cave Temple ( Pura Goa Lawah ). The temple stands at the junction between the beach and the hills with a cave inhabited by thousands of bats. Pura Goa Lawah ( Bat Cave Temple ) is an area that is sacred and beautiful. There's a blend of sea and mountains. As of its name, in this temple there is a cave inhabited by thousands of bats. The thundering sound of the bat is relentless, in the morning, at noon even at night. In an eyewink, tens, hundreds, or even thousands of bats fly. There is hanging, jostle on the walls of the cave. Sounded so boisterous like an eternal nature chant of all time.

If we look back on megalithic era, where at that time in addition to respect the power of the mountain as a power of nature that have been fused with ancestors who have supernatural powers, also respect the power of the sea in addition to other natural powers, such as large rocks, caves, rivers, springs and more. In essence, the cult of the god of Mount or the god of the sea, have actually include the worship of nature powers that in fact respect very complete. On that basis, the temple was originally very simple, now better known as a nature force that is united with the magical power of the ancestors. The sea in front of the temple, now fused with all the power that is respected and revered by community in order to obtain peace and prosperity. On the basis of this concept, Hindu followers in Bali venerate the mountain and the sea as a source of livelihood. Glorifying the mountain and the sea does not mean Hindus worship the mountain and the sea, but that is revered is Hyang Widhi in their role as mountain protector and sea possessor.

Bat Cave Temple ( Pura Goa Lawah ) is very interesting to visit because it is located off the coast with views of Nusa Penida Island in the distance with a beautiful black sandy beaches. Occasionally on the beach tourist can see traditional ceremony that makes this tourism object is worth to visit with your family during the holiday in Bali.

AMED & JEMELUK BAY

Bali is a tiny heaven in the earth, needs no introduction, but the fact bali is favorite destination, even the world's favorite island. Bali in tourism industries offer culture as the main products beside nature as supporting products. So, why many people come to Bali, whether Bali is beautiful island or has beautiful beaches or has spectacular views. This is as a reason or so why?????????. May be one of the reason is Amed.

Amed is one favorite interesting place in Bali. Amed is situated in northeast of Bali. Amed area can be reached about two hours from Ngurah Rai International Airport. Here, in Amed life continues peaceful and away from crowded like Kuta or main destination area. Amed is more than 20 kms stretch of secluded bays and a traditional fishing village with a background of Mt. Agung. The seas are cleared blue where sea creatures life as paradise for diver. Amed is one of the best diving site in Bali, also here is a centre of traditional panned salt. you can see how the salt was made. And the last update many acommodation was built, and also now a little bay where known as Jemeluk is a traditional pier which become homebase for fast boat Amed - Gili Trawangan v v.

Little Bay of Jemeluk, Amed, Bali
Amed is traditional fishing village in coast of Bali is covered by black sand but don't worry a big reputation as the best diving & snorkeling base in Bali. The opposite from here is Mt Rinjani in Lombok island can be seen if clear weather. Here, also in the early morning you can see the fisherman with traditional sailing boat come in and come out in the evening. So, if you want to try for fishing or just go to see around amed from the sea, you can hire a traditional boat approx duration 2 hours.

Amed is secluded village famous for picturesque beaches and various activities. If you want to plan for spending your vacation with lots of excitement and fun, come to Amed in East of Bali. Here, you will get indulged in various water activities such as Diving, Snorkeling, Boating, e.t.c. As a new popular destination in Bali, Amed is also the homes of hotels and villas. Amed has the specialty to accommodate all type ot travellers from business travellers until low budget travellers.

Amed is one of salt making centre in Bali. Good salt is made from here, I mean the salt is made with natural process not with a chemical process. So, salt that was produce here rich of contains minerals and vitamins. The process too long, from taking water in the sea until becoming salt is about 2 to 3 days in it's processing. The process also different than the other places like Kusamba in Klungkung Regency or Guris in Buleleng Regency, even in Madura island in east Java. The process is very unique. But, now some salt field converted into a hotels and other buildings, just some still remaining. It there isn't guarantee to protect this salt field. I Think this salt fields are tourism attraction where traditional salt is made.

Jemeluk Bay is a little bay in Amed area and one of favorite place, even the best one of favorite diving site in Bali. If you are a diver, you can try to feel sensation of beautiful life under the sea is here in Jemeluk Bay. Here, many diving operator can be found or just take a snorkeling with renting snorkeling equipment that offer competitive prices.
